April 20: A New Day...OK A Monday

YO Yo yo, how was your weekend... If you have been keeping up with my other blog
then you know how mine has been. But don't get me wrong it had some ups so I am
really not complaining too much. I got some great pics from the bestie had a
wonderful time with the boo got some homework done and I didn't have to work
much. So let's get it started for this week I hope you are ready...

Word of the Day:

jejune a. empty; sterile; dry; naive; immature.
jejunity, n. jejunum, n. middle part of small intestine.
Sentence: My jejunum was jejune therefore I could not induce vomitting with a
punch to it .LOL. (If you have seen Rebound then this will be funny to you)

POEM:
Common Knowledge

I make a new way out of an old
I try to turn shit into gold
I put my mind to nothing in fear I may fail
I sit in corners waiting to exhale
I feed my spirit to the souless fool
And strap on my weapons preparing for dual
I awake to stupidity
And sleep to longevity
I give my ideas and search for new remedies
I walk and I talk with the mind of a hawk
I give away nothing I sit and stalk
I pray up to God
He hands me a gift
I speak cunning with my words
And never too swift
I make my new way from old
My shit is now gold
I fail no more, as my destiny unfolds

Today Is the Celebration of the Late Great Luther Vandross's 59th Bday. I remember the day he died as the saddest day in R&B. But his music lives on with the help of a few dedicated Radio Stations. If you dont already have Luther on your Ipod you need to get with the program. The man is a LEGEND and should be treated a such. LOVE and MISS!!!

Obviously Celebrities were being quite boring this weekend, so I got nothing for you...makes me kinda SAD...

Random Fact:

Todays fact is a mathmatic fact and is kinda cool. Well it is to me because I
love math.
111,111,111 x 111,111,111 = 12,345,678,987,654,321. See isn't that fun. I don't
care if u disagree lol. Well I kinda do.

Discussion:

Since it is the birthday of the GREAT Luther Vandross I want to talk about music
and I am not talkin about that Soulja Boy Gucci Mane ish, I want to alk about
music. I am young but I know a lot about good old
R&B. My Ipod is saturated
with
Pattie LaBelle, Luther, The Isley Brothers, Diana Ross, Chaka Khan, and
many other people that most people my age would only know from some sample they
hear from their fav artist. But these great artists are my favorite artist. I
love the feeling that comes with the Classics. There are only a few of singers
that make me feel that way today.
Keyshia Cole gives me chills with her passion
and the strength in her voice.
Chrissette Michelle makes me feel like I am right
there with her when she sings. And
Rafeal Sadiq is the man when it comes to
giving you that feeling of being back in the day groovin with some friends.
These are the people who are making
R&B popular and bringing back that passion.
So who do u think is out there making
R&B the way it used to be? I know I may
have forgotten a few people but those were the people who were on my spirit.
And if you disagree I would love to hear that too. But I truly believe that
R&B
does not get the love and recognition it deserves.

Well that's the end of the Monday love. I hope you enjoyed it and remeber,
patience is a virtue, virtue is an obligation, obligation takes time, time is
limited, limits are a weakness, weakness is painful, and pain takes patience.

MUAH and LOVE

PS MY FONT IS RETARDED...
